Well, there’s nothing going on at UD courtesy of the swine flu scare/outbreak. That said, the bars will certainly be open as will the UD Alumni Relations Blog’s tab at several of Newark’s finest watering holes. So be a brave soul and come down to Newark to take the edge off because if your week has been anything as strange as ours, you’ll need a few. Also we’ll need to drown our sorrows as UD Opera’s performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance has been postponed. It’s straight autobioblographical – ‘honor bound pirate’ is the perfect way to describe us.
